Traffic delays on 95
Radio traffic reports indicate that southbound I-95 is backed up from the White Marsh Blvd. area due to an overturned vehicle. Based on what I saw as I crossed it on the way to my train, Belair Rd., one of the major alternate routes around that mess, is experiencing heavy traffic and backups as a result. No MARC reports of delayed trains today so far.
No current MARC delays - MARC 853 was delayed earlier. No DC Metro issues aside from Nuclear Security Summit disruptions. How’s the traffic been this afternoon in Baltimore and DC?
F Street closure for the Nuke Summit
F Street NW between 14th and 15th is closed due to a security lockdown that is most certainly for foreign dignitaries staying at nearby hotels.

MTA reports no other delays. Don’t forget, DC in the Mount Vernon Square area is a total mess today and tomorrow due to the Global Nuclear Security Conference. One issue not many people...

This blog will now solely focus on commuting issues in both the Baltimore and Washington areas. I will try to focus equally on all modes of transit, even though my current commute is rail (MARC) from Baltimore to DC and then either Metro or DC Circulator...
